What is that?!
It is time to move on to other factors of marketing; product and placement. To ensure the success of the product, marketers should always do research before putting an item on the market. Just because an item exist, it doesn’t mean consumers would buy it. Something that is viewed as useless to someone may be useful to others (one man’s trash is another man’s treasure).
I do a lot of online shopping and the main one would be eBay. eBay is a great site, it connects you to products around the world! Sometimes when i browse through the things they have I would ask “a product like this really exist?”. A couple of months ago, I found a product called chin massager. What does it do? It promotes blood circulation, exercise face muscles, and helps slim your face down. Theres plenty more of these products on eBay.
To an American society, many would not find this useful at all. I mean, why would anyone buy this to circulate blood on their face? It sounds silly and its in a shape of….yea. This product may be highly popular in Asia, but it doesn’t mean it will be popular elsewhere. It is important to do your research before making any business decisions.
